Made this chili tonight for the first time for my spouse’s “cleanse”. Used just a bit extra of the vinegar. Combined it with some vegan gluten-free Krusteaz corn muffins and it was great. How this recipe has four.9 stars from so many reviews is baffling to me.
I made this recipe and no one in my household appreciated it. My son advised me “it was not a keeper”. It’s lacking one thing, a umami style it appears. It’s not significantly spicy or flavorful. No amount of avocado or cheese may save this recipe. I watched a video of somebody make this and reread the recipe a number of times considering I had missed one thing.
